Sky | Warhill High School | Class of 2020

Meet Sky!  Sky is a senior on the MNP Team, and has been on the MNP Team since her sophmore year. I have enjoyed getting to know Sky over the past few years; she has a personality that is on a whole different level! Haha! She is my firecracker and goofball!

When Sky came for her fashion consult, she had dresses, which I knew was not really her style, so I told her to be true to herself, that this was her session, not mine, and gave her some ideas that I thought would represent her style and personality.  Sky plays softball for her school, and has a very chill, relaxed look, so I recommend to go along with that, but dress it up a bit.

We decided to travel up to Richmond to get an urban vibe for Sky’s session.  As much as I love Williamsburg, I did not see it flowing with Sky’s style or personality. We met at my fellow senior photographer’s studio, Amber Kay Seniors, to do Sky’s hair and makeup to save us some time on traveling.

For Sky’s first outfit, we started around downtown Richmond.  If you can’t tell, Sky loves her Nike gear!

We then went to another area in Downtown Richmond to the canal walk.  This location has some really cool murals, and has become one of my favorite places to shoot in Richmond.

 

We ended the session at a parking garage for Sky’s last outfit.   Sky wanted to honor her father, who is active duty in the U.S. Navy, by having his bike and the American flag in her pictures.  Instead of using a real flag, we used my scarf.

 

Sky, I had so much fun with you during your session, and you are beautiful in your pictures!  I have enjoyed having you on my team these past few years! Thank you for being you and the life of the party! 🙂 Sky will be attending Shenandoah University in the fall, where she will play softball.  Sky plans to major in exercise physiology, and plans to become a physical therapist after college.  Best of luck to you, Sky!
